Dr Pashy says some of the money she was told by TK Nkwana (Thabo Bester) that it was for a private jet for American media mogul, Oprah Winfrey, to come to a women empowerment conference in SA.
Dr Mmerika Ntshani, also known as Dr Pashy, said she was swindled out of millions by the convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester and her former celebrity doctor colleague Dr Nandipha Magudumana.
In an interview with SABC News, Dr Pashy said the prospect of working with Oprah, the US media mogul, is how she was allegedly lured into Bester’s web.
Magudumana allegedly introduced Thabo Bester to Dr Pashy as TK Nkwana – one of the many aliases he reportedly used. However, as the elaborate deception unravelled, Dr Pashy discovered that her identity had been exploited by Magudumana during her daring escape with Bester.
Shockingly, two passports belonging to Dr Pashy were found in Magudumana’s possession upon her arrest in Tanzania.
According to Dr Pashy, the fraudulent scheme began when she was approached by Dr Nandipha, who introduced her to a man named TK Nkwana, later identified as convicted killer and Facebook rapist Thabo Bester.
Believing that this connection would lead to a collaboration with influential figures such as US media mogul Oprah Winfrey, Dr Pashy was enticed into partnering with Bester.
