Nigerian personality, Denrele Edun, has remembered late Goldie Harvey; who passed away on the 14th of February 2013 (Valentine’s Day). Goldie died shortly after her return from Grammy Awards in 2013.
Taking to his Instastory, Denrele Edun, shared a short video/GIF as he remembered his best friend, Goldie Harvey after 7 years of her death. She died at Reddington Hospital in Lagos State.
She was buried at Vaults and Gardens in Lekki. Unfortunately, Denrele couldn’t visit her grave this time due to COVID-19 pandemic. He decided to remember her via social media.
Goldie was an incredible artiste with notable songs, such as: Jawo Jawo, Don’t Touch My Body, Skibobo, You Know It, etc. She was also an ex-housemate at the Big Brother Africa but she didn’t win the competition.
Denrele wrote: “This day, 1 year ago. Celebrating late Goldie’s legacy. Heaven couldn’t wait for her!
RIP Goldie.”
