Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Colin Jost cooked Joe Biden as he said he left his cocaine at the White House the last time he visited the White House.
Colin Jost: “The last time I was in DC I left my cocaine at the White House. Luckily, the president was able to put it to good use for his State of the Union. Of course I’m kidding, the president doesn’t call it cocaine, he calls it high speed rail.”
There’s no new “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, with one of the reasons being that “Weekend Update” anchor Colin Jost is busy hosting the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The event normally includes a standup roasting the president, his administration and other attendees, along with a comedic speech from the president himself, usually focusing on roasting members of the media along with jabs at political opponents.
Like the president, Jost finished his remarks on a serious tone, talking about decency and how Biden reflected that.
“My grandpa voted for decency, and decency is why we’re all here tonight,” he said. “Decency is how we’re able to be here tonight. Decency is how we’re able to make jokes about each other and one of us doesn’t go to prison afterwards. We go to the Newsmax after party.”
