Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has this message for the Filipino concertgoers who braved the world-renowned Philippines’ horrendous traffic to witness the first night of their “Music of the Spheres” world tour at the Philippine Arena, just a few kilometers north of Metro Manila.
“I think… We’ve seen some traffic, but I think you have the number one [worst traffic] in the world,” Chris said.
Concertgoers observed President Bongbong Marcos and the first family arriving at the venue via helicopter, bypassing traffic, as mentioned by social media users.
Netizens were divided on the president’s choice of travel, as some saw the use of a helicopter for security reasons, while others disapproved.
