Shocking footage released shows Utah police finding young girls stuffed inside 50-gallon barrels at the property belonging to doomsday cult pedophiles.
Heartbreaking.
The girls, who are blurred out, were the daughters of Samuel Shaffer and John Coltharp, two men who allegedly “married” their young daughters.
The incident took place in 2017 however video footage of the event was recently released.
Shaffer is currently serving a 26 years to life prison sentence for child r*pe and abuse.
Coltharp is serving 25+ years in prison for sodomy and child bigamy.
The girls, who were reportedly 4 and 7, were found inside 50-gallon barrels. 2 other girls were found in an abandoned trailer.
The girls reportedly spent over a day outside in freezing temperatures. Coltharp’s two daughters and two sons had been missing since September 2017, at the time the rescue operation was carried out. Their mom had filed for divorce. She had also been seeking custody of the children.
Police initially found the boys, 6 and 7 years old, while raiding the cult’s property later. However, a nationwide Amber Alert was issued when the girls could not be located.
