Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Caramelo Caramel the stranded horse has finally been rescued after standing on the rooftop of a house for 4 days without eating any food during flood in Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul.




The horse that spent around four days stranded on the roof of a house in Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul, was rescued this Thursday morning (9).

According to the Rio Grande do Sul Fire Department, the operation to rescue the animal is still ongoing and has support from the São Paulo Fire Department, the Brazilian Army and volunteers.


On Wednesday (8), a TV Globo helicopter spotted the animal on the roof of a house, completely marooned by the floods that hit much of the state . The images went viral on social media.


According to witnesses interviewed by CNN , the horse had been there for at least four days, unable to move or feed.


With the repercussion, several influencers and politicians began to mobilize to try to rescue the animal. The horse was nicknamed Caramelo, and the name became one of the most talked about topics on X, the old Twitter.
