A car repossession turned deadly when a tow truck driver fatally shot a Florida man, who owned the car he was repossessing. (Read More Here).
The incident unfolded in a Fort Lauderdale neighborhood around 10 a.m. on Wednesday (September 21). Fort Lauderdale Police Department officials say 38-year-old Clarence King got into a confrontation and altercation with a tow truck driver, who has not been named yet.
Nearby surveillance footage captured part of the altercation and aftermath, and caught the sounds of multiple gunshots being fired. A neighbor has since claimed that King and his young daughter were visiting his girlfriend when he was killed. The tow truck driver has since been detained and is cooperating with the investigation. Fort Lauderdale Police are working with the Broward State Attorney’s Office to determine if charges will be filed.
