A Texas mother wants answers after her son came home with bruises on his neck and said he was choked by a teacher’s aide who didn’t let him use the bathroom.

Last week, Cameron Sommier, 5, was reportedly grabbed by the neck by a teacher’s aide at Beatrice Myers Institute after running out of the classroom to use the bathroom. The incident happened after the kindergarten student asked the teacher’s aide if he could use the bathroom, but she t no. His mother, Denise Sonnier, said she received a call from the school’s nurse last Friday where she described that the skin on his neck was broken and the bruise was shaped like a nail print.

“He said he didn’t want to pee himself, and he ran out the classroom to use the restroom, and that’s how she ended up coming in the restroom and choked him,” Sonnier further explained. Additionally, Cameron said that the same teacher’s aide grabbed him by the ear.
