Hurray! Nigerian singer, Burnaboy, has made Nigerians proud again as he secures another Grammy nomination for the second time.

Recall that last year, he got nominated for the Grammy for the first time for his album, African Giant, but he lost to the legendary singer, Angelique Kidjo. A few minutes ago, Grammy announced that Burnaboy has been nominated for the Grammys for the second time for his outstanding album, Twice As Tall.

He got nominated alongside, Tinariwen (Amadjar), Anoushka Shankar (Love Letters), Bebel Giberto (Agora) and Antibalas (Fu Chronicles) for Global Music Album category.

We hope he wins it this time. It’s going to be a great victory for him, his family and Nigeria. Nigerians have taken to their various Twitter pages to react to his second time Grammys nomination. Beyonce leads the 63rd Grammys with 9 nods.
