Ben Affleck aka Batman spotted at VALORANT Champions.
The tech billionaire had a VIP section within the arena to enjoy the grand final. At one point in the broadcast, Riot Games’ production focused on Musk, prompting the audience to react with boos and a momentary chant of “Bring back Twitter.”
Valorant Champions 2023 has seen a gaggle of content creators and influencers, along with some of the more influential people in the world — Elon Musk and Ben Affleck– gracing the venue as they mingle and give visibility to the Riot Games tournament.
Affleck was seen walking around the sectioned-off portion of the venue with Riot Games staff. During his tour, he visited the media room and was shown how the VCT works behind the scenes.
The Hollywood A-lister was also spotted buying Champions 2023 merch, filmed by FaZe Clan pro player Andrej “babybay” Francisty.
While their affinity for Valorant or esports remains uncertain, their presence at one of the year’s major events goes to show how far gaming and live tournaments have come.
Meanwhile, Hollywood actor Ben Affleck, known for his performances in films such as Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, Argo, Gone Girl, and his portrayal of Batman in the DC cinematic universe’s Justice League movie, was spotted exploring the halls of the KIA Forum.
Valorant Champions has been a who’s who of influencers and professional Valorant players as Riot Games has brought them together to help promote the event and interact with fans. Sentinels’ Tarik ‘tarik’ Celik and some of the OfflineTV crew have ascended on the event to co-stream and host fan meetups outside the stadium…..
However, one person made an appearance at the event that trumps all of those influencers in terms of followers on social media and political power, Elon Musk. The owner of X, formerly Twitter, stopped by what seems to be the influencer area of the tournament, on the outside of the Kia Forum.
Ben Affleck, and his children, also stopped by the tournament.
