VIDEO: Apartheid President, Frederik Willem (FW) De Klerk, Apologises To Black South Africans And Brown Indians For The Atrocities He Committed During His Time As President Of South Africa

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that the late apartheid president of South Africa, Frederik Willem (FW) de Klerk, has finally apologised for the atrocities he committed during his time as president of South Africa. (Read More Here).

Before he passed away from cancer yesterday, he made a video of himself, thus, apologising to Black South Africans and Brown Indians for the pains he caused them in the past.

Recall that yesterday, it was reported that Frederik Willem (FW) de Klerk had passed away after battling with cancer. He died in his home in Fresnaye, South Africa.

“Former President FW de Klerk died peacefully at his home in Fresnaye earlier this morning following his struggle against mesothelioma cancer,” the statement said.

Frederik Willem (FW) de Klerk says during his apology speech: “I, without qualifications apologise for the pain, hurt and damage that apartheid has done to Black and Brown Indians in South Africa. I do hope so, not only in my capacity as the former leader of the national born, but also as an individual.”

Former apartheid President and member of the National Party has passed away aged 85 in his home. F.W de Klerk will be remembered for leading the National Party into Codesa negotiations and the Boipatong Massacre.

Mr de Klerk was head of state between September 1989 and May 1994.

In 1990 he announced he was releasing anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela, leading to multi-party polls in 1994.

The FW de Klerk Foundation’s spokesperson Dave Steward who confirmed his death, said “The former president died earlier this morning at his home in Fresnaye after his struggle against cancer. He was 85-years-old. He is survived by his wife Elita, two children Susan and Jan, and his grandchildren.”
