Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that African students studying in Ukraine are trying their best to escape from the country amidst crisis with Russia. (Read More Here).
Taking to social media, a Nigerian student, Nze Kiev, shared a video showing the moment Ukrainian soldiers stopped he and other African students from crossing over to Poland border.
According to Nze, he says the army also threatened to shoot at them while they were struggling to pass over to the Poland border.
Updating, Nze, said that the African students overpowered the Ukrainian army as they successfully crossed over to the Polish border.
A Nigerian student, Nze wrote:
“Watch how they are threatening to shoot us!
We are currently at the Ukraine -Poland border.
Their Police and Army refused to let Africans cross they only allow Ukrainian.
Some have slept here for 2 days under this scorching cold weather, while many have gone back to Lviv.”
