Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Abdul Salim, accused suspect in Rameshwaram Cafe bomb blast gets arrested in Whitefield, Bengaluru.
According to the NIA spokesperson, the Popular Front of India’s conspiracy aimed to transform India into an Islamic state by 2047. Abdul Salim had been evading authorities since the case surfaced, and a reward was issued for his arrest. The spokesman reported that Salim was apprehended from Maidukur in Andhra Pradesh’s Kadapa district following an intelligence tip-off.
During the NIA investigation into the case, it was discovered that Salim actively recruited Muslim youths to join the PFI, and he subsequently sent these recruits to a terrorist training camp for weapons training to further their anti-India agenda. The NIA had filed a charge sheet against 11 accused, including Abdul Salim, in December 2022.
Sleuths of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) announced the arrest of a person wanted in the Nizamabad PFI case, and owing allegiance to the banned Popular Front of India (PFI), from Mydukur town in Kadapa district.
The accused was identified as Abdul Salim, said to be the Telangana north regional secretary of the outfit, and is the fifteenth accused in the case registered by the Nizamabad Police in July 2022.
After announcing a cash reward of ₹2 lakh for information on his whereabouts, the NIA started probing his involvement in radicalisation of Muslim youth after inducting them into the PFI. He also allegedly sent the brainwashed youth to terror camps to get them trained in handling arms.
