An 8-month pregnant woman, Aminat Idrees/Idris, has shocked many Nigerians after winning a gold medal in Poomsae Taekwondo at the National Sports Festival in Benin, Edo State.
What’s Poomsae Taekwondo? – “It’s a demonstration of how Taekwondo is done or performed by the fighters. It’s not the actual Taekwondo fight – No fights are involved.
Aminat only demonstrated, she didn’t fight with anyone during the tournament.
The 26-year-old Aminat Idrees who is 8 months pregnant won gold in the Mixed Poomsae category in Taekwondo. She represented Lagos state.
National Sports Festival wrote: “An inspiring outing by heavily pregnant Aminat Idrees who won a gold medal for Lagos at the ongoing National Sports Festival in Benin, Edo State.
Aminat Idrees who is 8 months pregnant won gold in the Mixed Poomsae category in Taekwondo.”
