A 55-year-old man was chased down and robbed by armed thieves in broad daylight on Saturday!
According to authorities, the car chase took place around 4:40 p.m. on Second Avenue near 91st Street.
The video starts as the 55-year-old man was driving the Toyota Rav 4 against traffic on Second Ave right before the black Mercedes stuck him on purpose.
The Mercedes driver doubles back to hit the Rav 4, pushing it onto the sidewalk, then someone wearing a grey sweatsuit hops out of the passenger side to approach the elderly man with a gun. He opens the driver’s side door snatching a black bag that turned out to be $20,000 in cash!
There’s currently no further details as police officers are still searching for the thieves.
