A video is currently going viral on social media, showing over 5,000 Igbo/Nigerian men being stranded at a police station in Burkina Faso. They made the video so that the Nigerian government will come to their rescue.
According to the narrator or speaker in the video, the unseen man briefly narrated how he and 4,999 men found themselves in Burkina Faso. According to him, he says a fake Ponzi company came to them and urged them to invest in its company.
The investment or business agreement includes travelling to Burkina Faso until they get their doubled money. They travelled but after months of staying in Burkina Faso, they didn’t see anything.
The man says that many of the fellow stranded men sold their lands and other properties just to invest in the business. The man says that they were charmed by the workers of the Ponzi company. They didn’t know that they were charmed until a friend touched them and the charms went off their eyes.
He says that they’re currently at the police station in Burkina Faso because the company called the police to arrest them with claims that they (the stranded men) owe its company some money.
