A 42 year old man named Kwami Richards was caught on camera assaulting an officer after he managed to break out of a prison van outside Brixton police station on Friday afternoon.
He was detained after being recalled to prison before he managed to run away, as he escaped a plain clothed officer followed him into the station.
The police are currently still searching for him following this instant and encourage the public to not approach him if they see him.
