VAR-Video Assistant Referee was used during a football match held in Nekede, Owerri two days ago. Umuerim community organized a football tournament in its community for all the youths. The VAR was brought to Owerri by Mr.Chukwuma Oti who came back from Japan during the festive season.
It was a beautiful innovation by Mr. Chukwuma Oti. Umuerim community cup ended well as all fouls and mistakes were all caught by the VAR.
