U.S Marshals were searching for a man who was accused of torturing and sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend. Luckily, they found him but it appears someone else found him first and shot him seven times!
According to Fox Detroit news, 30-year-old Dekenta Parchman was wanted for the hours-long assault on his ex inside her own home. Per the report, “he repeatedly beat and sexually assaulted her with a hair straightener that was on.”
He was charged with terrorizing his ex-girlfriend in late July after showing up to her apartment drunk and punching her in the face. He smashed multiple ash trays on her head before violating her with a hot flat iron and beating her with an extension cord. This went on for nearly three hours before she escaped.
He was discovered by police a week later. In court, he told police “I got shot 7 times. I got bullet fragments in me. I need surgery. My leg is broken, they shot out my knee,” he said.
The victim spent several days in the hospital and is still recovering. Parchman’s bond was set at $250,000, no 10%.
