Bollywood actress Kajol is all set to make her much-awaited OTT debut with Disney+ Hotstar’s ‘The Trail’. Being one of the bankable actors in India, she is loved by the audience for her down-to-earth personality and witty remarks. She never shies away from expressing her opinions, no matter how much her statements don’t go down well with the netizens. Recently, during the promotions of her upcoming series, she commented on how India lacks political leaders with good educational backgrounds.
While a section of the internet agreed with her statement, many others brutally trolled her for being a school dropout herself. Quoted by Telly Chakkar, she expressed how changes in a country like India are very slow since the society is deeply rooted in their traditions. She said, “The change especially in a country like India is very slow because we are steeped in our traditions and thought processes and of course, it has to do with education. We have political leaders who do not have an educational system background. I am sorry but I am going to go out and say that.”
This heroine, who has gained special fans with her glamour and acting in many films, has completed three decades (30 years) of entering Bollywood. On the occasion, her husband, actor, star hero Ajay Devgan shared a special post with his fans on Instagram.
Sharing a picture from the movie ‘Tanaji’ starring Ajay Devgn-Kajol together, he said, “You have done many films in this three-decade film journey. You have crossed many milestones. Memories are stored in these thirty years of your film career. But, in fact, you are now starting the real journey,” posted Ajay Devgan. Kajol also shared a special glimpse on the occasion of completing thirty years of her film career.
