Umno president Zahid Hamidi has threatened to take legal action against Raja Petra Kamarudin.
Raja Petra wrote a post claiming that Zahid received RM67mil in bribes over the Littoral Combat Ship project.
Zahid says the blogger should’ve produced evidence to back his claims.
Zahid says, the written piece was just Raja Petra’s own speculation, and said he could file a defamation suit against him.
He adds that the letters Raja Petra claimed were SDs, are fake, hence proving he has no credibility.
However, the BN chief agreed that the MACC should investigate the blogger for the accusations that were made.
Earlier, the MACC said it would meet with Raja Petra first, before deciding if Zahid should be called in for questioning about the bribery allegations.
