Uganda’s Magistrate Court of Makindye at Makindye has withdrawn the case filed against Nigerian singers; Stanley Omah Didia and Temilade Openiyi (Tems Baby) and her manager, Muyiwa Awomiyi.
Recall that days ago, Omah Lay and Tems performed in Uganda but was later arrested for breaking of COVID-19 guidelines according to the Uganda Police Force. Their arrest was triggered by outcry from popular singer, Bebe Cool.
After being dragged for a day and half, Ugandan Government bowed to pressure and now the magistrate’s Court in Uganda has withdrawn the case and ordered the release of the singers.
