Two corgis travelled in Singapore Airlines’ business class for 17 hours from San Francisco to Singapore.

“We modified their feeding schedule in advance so they’d take their final poddy right before we left,” owner Tommy Suriwong said.

He said Mandy and Peanut were well-behaved and “mostly slept and cuddled” throughout the flight.

He added that both dogs were allowed on the aircraft after they showed emotional support animal documentations.

Tommy also helped the dogs acclimatise by making them listen to aeroplane sounds on YouTube for several nights before the flight.

According to Singapore Airlines, passengers travelling with dogs need to comply with specific conditions and regulations.

It added that small-sized dogs should sit on the passenger’s lap, while larger dogs must sit on the cabin floor.

It also said that a moisture-absorbent material must be placed underneath the dog at all times.
