Operational tests of the Elevated Trolley bus begin in Iztapalapa with 2 stations still to be completed.
Sheinbaum expressed that “this work that you see here is not for nothing, but it is unique in the world, in no other place on the planet can you have a second floor of 8 kilometers with electromobility, where only trolleybuses move.” The start of the tests of the elevated trolleybus served for the capital authorities to walk in the new units and for artists and music bands in stations and surrounding streets to encourage the people summoned to the official act held in the Deportivo Santa Cruz Meyehualco, Iztapalapa.
After taking a tour of the new units, Scheinbaum got off at the Deportivo Santa Cruz station, where citizen participation personnel offered her a ribbon as an inauguration, but she immediately rejected it. Before hundreds of people gathered at the Deportivo, the local president assured that it is a work of social justice.
