This morning, two people were killed in an accident on the A6 near Lelystad.
The accident involves the occupants of one car.
According to police, no other vehicles were involved. The accident happened around 8am. The police are unable to confirm what happened to the car. However, the investigation is still ongoing.
The police have requested that any witnesses with vital information come forward. Several emergency services, including an air ambulance, were dispatched.
The A6 will be closed between Lelystad-Noord and Lelystad until 1 p.m. Traffic coming from the south can take the N50, A28, or A1.
