Leveraging the extensive media exposure enjoyed by Logan Paul and KSI, FC Barcelona anticipates significant support in its mission to broaden its fan base across the world, particularly in the United States. With the club embarking on a pre-season tour in the United States this summer, potential commercial initiatives, akin to those experienced with Spotify last year, are plausible.

The remarkable growth trajectory of Prime since its inception is evinced by its existing substantial sponsorship agreements with Arsenal and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the premier mixed martial arts organization. Prime holds the position of being the official energy drink for both these entities.

Prime was started by well-known YouTube personalities Logan Paul and KSI, who were once boxing opponents but became business partners in 2022 when launching the product.

A social media hype campaign, plus the popularity of Paul and KSI who boast tens of millions of followers on social media, resulted in Prime becoming an immediate hit – especially the US and UK where either man hails from. Being associated with Prime will bring greater exposure to Barca, who are likely to use the drink on their preseason tour of the US beginning on July 22.

Landing the Barca contract is also a huge coup for Prime, who already have deals with PremierPINC League giants Arsenal plus the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

As of yet, there are no details on the length of the contract Prime will have with Barca.

When Barca signed with Gatorade in 2013, it was announced as a three-year partnership which has managed to continue until this day. Having previously engaged in two boxing matches in 2018 and 2019, the duo have fostered a strong friendship that ultimately led to the creation of the Prime brand of energy drinks. Logan Paul, persistently pursuing his ambition for success in contact sports, has ascended as one of the emerging stars in the highly acclaimed American wrestling company, WWE, following his exhilarating bout against Floyd Mayweather in 2021.
