Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that The SIU have welcomed the arrest of Mpumalanga Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs HoD, Samkelo Ngubane, over personal protective equipment (PPE) fraud and corruption amounting to R5.9 million. (Read More Here).
According to information, Ngubane was arrested on Monday by the Hawksva few weeks ago. (Read More Here).
He appeared at Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court on charges of contravening sections of the Public Finance Management Act and was released on R10 000 bail.
According to information, the matter was postponed to 28 July 2022 for further investigation.”
