The Sakhile Ezweni Group, which is owned by Leeroy Sidambe, allegedly still doesn’t pay the Sassa guards they have hired.
Despite being threatened with termination if they objected or didn’t report for work, the employees have resorted to speaking up and asking for assistance.
They were supposed to be paid on the 7th but till now they haven’t been paid. Security officers are still expected to go to work even though they haven’t been paid. This is heartbreaking because some of these people have families and they are struggling to feed their families”.
