The mother of an Ohio girl is making headlines for defending a man who raped and impregnated her 10-year-old daughter.
According to Daily Mail, the mother, who declined to identify herself, says her daughter is fine after undergoing an abortion and says everything police are saying about the rapist, “is a lie.”
Gerson Fuentes, 27, of Guatemala, confessed to raping the young girl, but the mother has not filed charges even though he was charged with rape after confessing to having ‘vaginal contact’ with the girl on at least two occasions.
Per the report, “The Indianapolis Star, an Indiana-based publication, reported on July 1 that a little girl had to cross state lines to receive an abortion because she was denied one in Ohio.”
Fuentes appeared in court Wednesday and was given a $2 million bond. He’s currently in the Franklin County Jail.
