The moment Dr Phillip Ozuah’s $ 1,000,000 (700,000,000) donation to the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan was announced by the donor via Zoom, moderated by the provost of the College of Medicine,University of Ibadan, Prof Olayinka Omigbodun.

What a priceless moment!

Ironically, the donor, Dr Philip Ozuah, and the provost of the medical college, Prof Olayinka, were classmates at the same college before Dr Ozuah left Nigeria for the US at graduation in search of the proverbial Golden Fleece, while Prof Olayinka stayed back in the college to contribute her quota to the growth of what is unarguably, Nigeria’s finest and the premier medical college in Nigeria
