Information reaching Kossyderrickent The Jewish Chronicle published a Nazi-apologia article by Douglas Murray defending Nazis by saying the SS felt very sad when carrying out the mass slaughter of the Jews.

He said: “This repugnant from neo-con ultra-right Douglas Murray who likes to fancy himself as a global intellectual but everyday shows his bigotry & bile.”

Elsewhere, actor and GMB host Adil Ray commented: “Why is this not bigger news? This is one of the most racist things ever said about a major leading minister.

“Murray works for some of the biggest media companies in the world. Until this stops, nothing stops.

Author of the War on the West and associate editor at The Spectator Douglas Murray took aim at Humza Yousaf during his appearance on The Rubin Report.

“He’s married to a Palestinian,” Murray said before describing Nadia El-Nakla as a “nasty piece of work”.

The writer added: “But people like Humza Yousaf, I say it carefully, have infiltrated our system. He does not seem to be much bothered by the situation of the Scottish people, or the people of Glasgow who have one of the lowest life expectancies not just in Britain but anywhere in Europe.

He does not seem to care about that or if he does, he does nothing about it. But my word if you look at his social media proclamations … you would think that he was indeed First Minister of Gaza.

“This is a problem that the Scots must sort out, the Scottish electorate must sort out, indeed the British electorate must sort out.”

Many have taken to Twitter/X to condemn Murray for his comments, including National columnist Gerry Hassan. Musk responded to a clip of Yousaf’s speech, saying: “What a blatant racist!”

In the speech, made when he was justice secretary, Yousaf highlighted the dominance of white people in positions of power in Scottish society.

A spokesperson for the First Minister hit back at the time, calling on the Twitter/X owner to tackle the “racism and hatred that goes unchecked on the social media platform he owns”.

Information reads: “The @JewishChron has today published a piece of Holocaust revisionism by the far-right pseudo-intellectual Douglas Murray.

Here he is, openly defending Nazis (not only Nazis but *specifically* Nazi death squads).”

THE ARTICLE READS:

Of all the responses to the October 7 massacre, one of the most contemptible in Britain is that of “Steady on, chaps. Don’t overreact.” This attitude has come from a whole slew of commentators across the British press. My colleague at the Spectator, Matthew Parris, took to the pages of the magazine last week to claim that the aftermath of the biggest slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust is the ideal time to “dial down” any anger one feels. Suggesting he feels little, if any, himself.

In The Times, Hugo Rifkind this week expressed concern that reactions to the antisemitism on display at the “pro-Palestine” marches might lead to more antisemitism. Which, like the conclusion Parris comes to, means that when Jews are slaughtered the best thing to do is just sit it out, be quiet, and wait for the next one. Because it wouldn’t do to have too strong a response now, would it?

I’m genuinely baffled that so many people are agonising at a time when the situation before us all — Jews and non-Jews — could hardly be clearer. As I am in Israel at the moment, I witness the situation with even more clarity.

Nothing could surpass the barbarism of what Hamas did that day. I have seen and covered many conflicts in my life, but I have never seen anything quite like this.

As I said after watching at the Israeli embassy the other day the unedited footage of the massacre, this is one occasion when saying that some people are worse than the Nazis is not hyperbole.

Average members of the SS and other killing units of Hitler’s were rarely proud of their average days’ work. Very few felt that shooting Jews in the back of the head all day and kicking their bodies into pits was where their own lives had meant to end up.
