THE IDEA OF YOU’ starring Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine has received an R rating for “some language and sexual content.”
It follows a divorced mother (Hathaway) who sparks a love affair with a pop star (Galitzine) she meets after taking her daughter to a festival.
According to Deadline, the film adaptation of the book centers around 40-year-old Sophie, whose husband has left her for a younger woman and has canceled the Coachella trip he was supposed to take with their 15-year-old daughter, Izzy. Sophie decides to take Izzy to the music festival instead, and while there, she meets 24-year-old Hayes Campbell, the lead singer of a boy band named August Moon.
