The Attorney General’s Chambers is planning to propose for the Bahasa Malaysia translation of the Federal Constitution to replace the original English text as the authoritative version.

AG Idrus Harun says this is subject to the approval of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

He adds that the AGC is also planning to reprint the Federal Constitution to ensure it includes the latest constitutional amendments.
