Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Zendaya gets run a train on her and tongue kissed two white guys, Josh O’Connor & Mike Faist, in trailer of CHALLENGERS.

The trailer for Luca Guadagnino’s ‘CHALLENGERS’ starring Zendaya, Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist has been released.

In theaters September 15, 2023. As their pasts and presents collide, and tensions run high, Tashi must ask herself, what will it cost to win.

The trailer unfolds the trio’s story from an at-times steamy relationship (the film is rated R) in their younger years to the present, when Tashi’s gameplan is threatened by their past.

Justin Kuritzkes wrote the screenplay for the film, which is being produced by Amy Pascal, Guadagnino, Zendaya and Rachel O’Connor. Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross did the music.

Zendaya will be on the big screen plenty in the fall, with Dune: Part Two scheduled to hit theaters November 3. MGM on Tuesday dropped the official trailer for Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers, his new movie starring Zendaya as a tennis prodigy-turned-coach. The love triangle movie, which also stars West Side Story‘s Mike Faist and The Crown‘s Josh O’Conner, hits theaters September 15.

Zendaya plays Tashi Duncan, a force of nature who makes no apologies for her game on and off the court. Married to a champion, Art (Faist), on a losing streak, Tashi’s strategy for her husband’s redemption takes a surprising turn when he must face off against the washed-up Patrick (O’Connor) – his former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend.

Zendaya will be in charge of playing Tashi Duncan, and after a long losing streak, the character decides to send her husband, Art, into a Challenger event. If you aren’t familiar with tennis, a Challenger event is the most basic level of the professional tour, meaning that Art will have to go back basics after playing at Grand Slam events. However, there’s a twist to the particular situation, as Tashi’s ex is also playing at the event. Art now has the pressure of getting his grove back while attempting to outsmart his wife’s ex-boyfriend. After King Richard brought drama and honor to the tennis court, it’s time to have fun with something that resembles Wimbledon a little bit more.

Guadagnino’s had an impressive run ever since he directed Call Me By Your Name. While the filmmaker has focused on prestigious, independent dramas over the past several years, it’s nice to see him sit back and relax with a romantic comedy that will show tennis in a new light. And he’s managed to assemble an impressive cast, since Josh O’Connor joined the project after telling King Charles’ III story over the course of a couple of seasons of The Crown. Step away from the mind-bending reality of Suspiria, grab a racket and get ready to find out how the leading couple of Challengers fixes their problems.
