Taylor Swift was spotted wearing her iconic ‘J’ necklace despite there being rumors from major news outlets about her and Joe Alwyn breaking up.

For those not in the know, Taylor Swift started wearing this silver Tiffany necklace with a “J” on it in 2016, and sang “I want to wear his initial on a chain round my neck” on Reputation, as well as tapping it in videos – all but confirming it’s about Joe.

However, the Lavender Haze singer, 33, appeared in good spirits as she stepped out for a solo dinner in New York amid her ambitious Eras Tour.

On April 11th, 2023, entertainment Twitter handle, shared a photo taken by paparazzi of the Grammy-winning artist as she stepped out for her night outing. She was followed closely by her music producer, Jack Antonoff.

The Anti-Hero hitmaker was dressed in loose jeans with a ‘bejewelled’ butterfly cut-out near her left thigh. She was also carrying a matching dazzling purse coordinating it with the butterfly sequin detail.

This hope has only been fuelled by new images of Swift stepping out in New York City with a familiar necklace around her neck.

The necklace in question seems to be the same necklace Swift wore while dating Alwyn—a circular Tiffany & Co. pendent with an engraving of the letter J (Alwyn’s initial).

The pair were first romantically linked in 2017, when The Sun reported Swift was spending time with Alwyn in London. As the couple seemed to go from strength to strength since then, the recent reports of their break-up came as a surprise to those fans invested in their relationship.

For this reason, many dedicated Swift fans are ready to let go of Swift’s relationship with Alwyn until the singer says it’s over.
