Taylor Swift has already been fined 32 times for disposing of rubbish in front of her NY home.

According to The NY Post, there are cigarette packs, stacks of newspapers, liquor bottles, cardboard boxes and ashtrays scattered on the sidewalk.

But even with an estimated net worth of $570 million and world tours to worry about, the pop star — and her army of lawyers — took the time and energy to fight the fines.

She even managed to shake off $200 in penalties.

Between January 2018 and January 2023, Sanitation inspectors dinged Swift, 33, for failing to clean the area in front of her building, having a dirty sidewalk, and improperly disposing of garbage.

Swift and her legal team have been fighting the fines and have managed to dismiss $200 in penalties. It is clear that she is not taking these charges lightly and is determined to defend herself against the accusations. Some of the violations cited include a dirty sidewalk, improper disposal of garbage, and scattered ashtray contents. However, it should be noted that Swift’s former landlord has described her as a perfect tenant and expressed surprise at the situation. This suggests that there may be more to the story than meets the eye.

Taylor Swift has recently found herself in hot water over fines related to trash outside her New York City home. It has been reported that she has been ticketed 32 times by the Sanitation Department for failing to keep the sidewalks in front of her townhouse clean in Tribeca since 2017. The fines have amounted to a total of $3,010, although some have been disputed and reversed on appeal. The trash left outside Swift’s building has included newspapers, bottles, cardboard, napkins, wrappers, and even cigarette butts.

One possible explanation for the trash outside Swift’s home could be the presence of her dedicated fan base and the paparazzi. Franklin Street, where her townhouse is located, is known to attract eager fans who gather in hopes of catching a glimpse of the pop star. It is not uncommon for such gatherings to result in an accumulation of trash. Swift’s fans have come to her defense, arguing that she should not be held solely responsible for the garbage pile-ups. It is important to consider this perspective and recognize that Swift’s fame and success inevitably attract attention and sometimes unwanted consequences.

She doesn’t care about leaving trash out,” one 22-year-old dog walker told The Post, while just a couple of smushed cigarette butts dotted the area in front of the 27-foot-wide townhouse on the cobblestoned block. “I think she’s more focused on her multi-million dollar tour that’s bankrupting all her fans.”

A rep for Swift declined to comment.
