Syrian dictator, Bashar al-Assad, wants to crown himself. 

The Elaf newspaper reported that the dictator of Syria wants to change the system of government in the country to a republican monarchy.

Assad thus wants to ensure the safety of his family and the unimpeded transit of power to his son.
