Ganduje sold two generators of Muhammadu wase Teaching Hospital, the generators worth 100m but ganduje sold them at 680k.

The move comes as part of the new government’s efforts to restructure and streamline the management of the Hajj affairs in the state. Mohammad Abba Danbatta, who formerly held the position of Director General of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board, has been replaced by Laminu Rabiu Danbaffa.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf emphasized the importance of effective governance and accountability in Hajj operations, stating, “We are committed to ensuring that the affairs of Hajj are conducted in a transparent and efficient manner. This restructuring is necessary to enhance the experience of our pilgrims and uphold the sanctity of this important religious duty.”

In an official statement issued on Sunday, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa, conveyed the decision and the subsequent instructions for the interim local Hajj officers to assume full responsibility.

The statement also directed the newly appointed centre officers to report to the recently appointed Director General of Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board for an emergency meeting on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the board’s headquarters.

During the past administration led by Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, kano state was reversed back and the master plan of the state was rudely interrupted. Government offices, schools, hospitals, roadsides, public places, cemeteries, markets have been sold out and some allocated to friends and families of the administration. 

Shops and plazas are are built in these lands, for example we have seen shops built in some hospitals where patients are expected to be treated in a quiet environment for quick recovery. Disruption in sleep will hinder their recovery process.

Hajj Camp quarters that was sold by Ganduje to family members has been demolished.

Today H.E Abba Kabir Yusuf (AKY) has come with the antidote to solve all these problems but his medicines are very bitter and sour. 

In the past we have seen restoration of master plans in places like Abuja by Malam Nasir El-Rufa’i when he was the minister of the state and Kaduna when he was the governor of the state. In his quest for restoring the master plans of the states, properties worth millions were demolished and destroyed.
