Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Journalist has said that over 10 000 rapes and 6083 people were murdered in South Africa in first quarter of 2022.
Taking to social media, a popular South African crime journalist, made the report. Yusuf Abramjee who is accurate with information says 6083 people were murdered in the first three months in South Africa.
Yusuf Abramjee wrote:
“6083 people were murdered in South Africa in the first three months of this year. This is an average of 67 every day. 4976 murders were reported in the same period last year.
“Over 10 000 rapes were reported in the first quarter of this year. This is an average of 111 each and every day – or almost five cases every hour. Yes, one person+ is raped on average every 15 minutes.
“The latest crime statistics show we are in serious trouble. These criminals are terrorizing our nation. There needs to be urgent interventions by government. We are in trouble!”
