Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that the EFF has given a brief update concerning the court case of Hillary Gardee’s murder and rape committed by three mature men. (Read More Here).
According to the EFF, stated the murderers of Hillary Gardee; Mduduzi Nkala, Philemon Lukhele, and Sipho Mkhatshwa, have been opposed bail by the state as the appeared at the Magistrate Court in Nelspruit today – May 9, 2022.
The EFF wrote: “The accused in the Hillary Gardee case are Sipho Mkhatshwa, Philemon Lukhele and Mduduzi Nkala
They have been charged with Conspiracy for murder, kidnapping, rape, murder, possession of firearm and defeating the ends of justice
The state opposes bail.”
Philemon Lukhele, 47 was arrested together with Sipho Lawrence Mkhatshwa, 39 and Albert Mduduzi Gama, 52.
As an office and the ANC, we are totally against and distance ourselves from the act of killing of innocent people.
“We trust the laws of this country, that there will be a successful investigation and prosecution of the perpetrators and that those who are found to have committed this heinous crime are put behind bars and removed from the streets for the safety of our society,” Mlombo said.
Lukhele, Mkhatshwa and Gama face charges of murder, rape, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition, and conspiracy to commit murder. They appeared in the Mbombela Magistrate’s Court on Monday where they abandoned their bail application.
Lukhele told the court that he and Gardee had known each other for a long time.
Information reads: “BREAKING: Three suspects in the Hillary Gardee murder case, appearing before the Nelspruit Magistrate Court. Lawrance Mkhatshwa, Philemon Lukhele, and Mduduzi Gama.”
