Spanish goalkeeper, Iker Casillas is retiring from football at the age of 39. Iker Casillas started his football career by representing his country, Spain during the U-15 tournament to the senior tournament.
Taking to his social media platforms, Iker Casillas dropped a statement, which announces his retirement from football.
“Lo Importante es el camino que recorres y la gente que te acompana, no el destino al que te IIeva, porque eso con trabajo y esfuerzo, IIega solo y creo que puedo decir, sin dudar, que ha sido el camino y el destino sonado. Gracias,” he tweeted in Spanish/Espanol.
“The important thing is the path you travel and the people who accompany you, not the destination to which it takes you, because that with work and effort, comes alone and think I can say, without hesitation, that it has been the path and the dream destination. Thank you,” he tweeted in English/Ingles.
