Nigerian singer, Simi, has blown hot on social media over the new order by The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to telecommunication operators to block SIM Cards not registered with National ID.
The information was revealed by Bashir Ahmad (President Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media) via his Twitter handle in the early hours of Wednesday. Nigerians are currently reacting the news.
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has given telecommunications operators (MTN, Glo, Airtel, 9Mobile and others) in the country two weeks to block all SIM cards that are not registered with the National Identity Numbers (NIN), the Commission has said in a statement.

Taking to her Twitter page, Simi says she’s tired and tells Telecommunication operators to block her SIM card if they want to. She ended her statement by saying the few people who would register would be the only ones calling one another.
“Honestly if they want to block it, they should block it. Cos I’m tired and maybe the 15 people that are able to register in 2 weeks can be calling theirself,” she tweeted.
