An information reaching to Nigerian Polytechnic students on social media has left them sad and shattered. According to the report, SSANIP plans to embark on strike in January next year. 


The information was revealed by the official Twitter handle of The Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) yesterday. According to the report, SSANIP plans to embark on strike on the 4th of January 2021. 


Currently, ASUU members and The Nigerian Federal Government are still negotiating on the new agreement before the 8-month strike is eventually called off. 


According to the report, The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Polytechnics (SSANIP) has announced plans to embark on strike over IPPIS amongst other disagreements with federal government. What’s IPPIS? – Integrated Payroll And Personal Information System. 


“The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Polytechnics, SSANIP, reveals plan for next year as members today fixed January 4, 2021 to begin strike over IPPIS amongst other disagreements with the Federal Government,” ASUU revealed.
