Recall the trending story of a 23-year-old Kano indigene, Suleiman Isah Isah, who fell in love with a 46-year-old American woman, named, Janine Sanchez.
Taking to his Instagram page, Suleiman shared photos of him, his wife and Senator Shehu Sani with a caption of approval of marriage from the senator.
“Alhamudlilah Senator Shehu Sani has also approved the union.” According to reports, Suleiman and Janine have officially wedded today. They’re now husband and wife. They had a private Islamic wedding ceremony in Kano State today at 11:00am.

According to a close friend of Suleiman, he says the couple met each other on Instagram. Janine is a chef based in Lindon, California. According to their wedding card, their wedding will be held on the 13th of December, 2020 at 52 Barraks Jumma’at Mosque, Gasau Panshekara, Kano State at 11:00am.
Narrating a bit of the story, Suleiman’s friend said: “Suleiman has already shared the pre-wedding pictures with his American lover whom he met on Instagram. Sanchez (Janine) and Suleiman became friends over a year ago and fell in love with each other.
She’s a chef based in Lindon, California, and she has said she wouldn’t mind returning to America with her new love after marriage in Kano. The wedding will take place Sunday 13, December 2020 at Panshekara.”
