The Sidemen Charity Match 2023 is a soccer match taking place on Saturday 9 September at London Stadium, in the UK. It is the sixth event of its kind and was first held in 2016.

Last year the match saw 25,000 supporters descend on Charlton Athletic’s The Valley Stadium, and it’s expected that the live crowd will be even bigger this year with Football London reporting that over 60,000 spectators have purchased tickets.

The Sidemen team took the lead as Behzinga slotted home, however, viewers were convinced that defender JiDion thought he was playing a different sport.

This was because he was seen trying to grab the ball with his hands before being dispossessed.

And fans flocked to social media to point out the YouTube All Stars defender’s error.

One viewer Tweeted: “I’m crying Jidion went down to grab it.”

This year, the organizers are hoping to top the £1 million ($1.25 million) raised last year.

All proceeds will be donated to charities including Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), Teenage Cancer Trust, Brightside, Rays of Sunshine, and m7 Education.

Last year, 25,000 supporters packed into Charlton Athletic’s The Valley Stadium to witness the fifth instalment of the event. With more than £1 million raised for charities across the country, this year is due to be bigger and better with a remarkable 62,000 spectators expected to fill the home of the 2012 Olympics.

The fixture will see the likes of KSI, W2S and Miniminter join forces with some of the biggest names in the YouTube world, music and sports. A number of names have already been confirmed to be involved in the fifth edition of the social media group’s charity match.

All proceeds of the event will be donated to charities including suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), youth charity Teenage Cancer Trust, wish-granting charity, Rays of Sunshine and m7 education.

The Sidemen Charity Match is back and bigger than ever, with some of the most popular social media stars from around the world including MrBeast and KSI taking part to raise money for charity.
