SARS TARGETS ACTRESS FOR R1.3 MILLION UNPAID TAX DEBT.
The South African Revenue Service (Sars) has issued a final letter of demand against former City Ses’la actress Tumi Masemola, instructing her to pay over R1.3 million in tax debt or face having her assets sold if she failed to utilise payment methods prescribed by the revenue collector.
A letter issued to the 40-year-old last week stipulating that she had an outstanding debt amounting to R1 343 227 and was given 10 business days to respond to the letter or she could encounter a civil lawsuit being entered against her.
Masemola is also known as Lady Naturelle, the lead singer in the urban pop group Gang of Instrumentals.
