Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Dr Maweni alleges SABC 1 has stolen her show concept which she pitched as The Journey with Dr Maweni. (Read More Here).
SABC 1 has a similar show now titled Roxic.
Dr Maweni’s concept aimed at helping individuals with families struggling to accept their calling and Roxic does the same.
Dr Maweni further explains what her show would be about titled The Journey with Dr Maweni.

“#SABC stole my concept, says @dr_maweni who stepped into the Newsroom crying. Maweni even went as far as sending all her documents via our email showing us how she was swindled a show.
“Ugogo says now SABC ignores her messages, emails and calls, however the same show is now playing on @mzansi_fosho.”
