Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that CM Punk took shots at Hangman Adam Page in post show interview after AEW Collision went off air.
CM Punk took a shot at his alleged real-life rival “Hangman” Adam Page, after the latest episode of AEW Collision went off the air.
It can’t be denied that CM Punk is one of the best ever on the microphone. His promo skills have continuously been praised ever since the iconic pipebomb promo back in 2011.
During the main event of this week’s episode of AEW Collision, CM Punk and FTR failed to capture the World Trios Championship from House of Black in an enthralling encounter.
After the show went off the air, CMFTR interacted with fans in North Carolina. The Second City Saint mentioned his former rival, Hangman Adam Page, whom he allegedly had real-life beef with.
He also took a cheeky dig at The Elite member claiming that Hangman can’t move merchandise like him.
The Straight Edge Star has continued being a polarizing figure after his controversial return to AEW TV this year. AEW has had to implement a soft roster split in order to avoid another confrontation between Punk and The Elite. This arrangement, however, doesn’t seem to stop the former WWE star from speaking his mind.
The main event of this week’s episode of AEW Collision saw The House of Black defending the AEW World Trios Title against the team of CM Punk and FTR.
Punk and company looked to have the upper hand during the bout until Samoa Joe interfered. Joe, who has been challenging Punk to a match at ALL IN attacked the former AEW Champion.
What Happened With CM Punk After Collision
Joe threw the fellow wrestling veteran over the barricade and then choked him out. Brodie King used the opportunity to take out Dax Harwood with a lariat. King then pinned Harwood to retain the titles for his team.
House of Black left for the stage after this victory. The show then went off the air but Punk and his tag partners remained in the ring.
After the cameras stopped rolling, Punk took on a mic and started cutting a promo on Hangman Page. He took shots at the AEW star’s action-figure sales and claimed that, unlike Page, he moves merchandise and pops ratings.
