Rich Homie Quan calls out Roddy Ricch for allegedly pulling Quan’s verse from a song he was on..
Rich Homie Quan was reportedly supposed to have a verse on DJ Drama’s latest album, according to HotNewHipHop.
However, he had a noticeable lack of inclusion on the tracklist’s features — and he is now blaming Roddy Ricch as the reason why. He was allegedly supposed to be another verse on “FMFU” with Drama, Ricch, Gucci Mane, and Lil Wayne.
Quan is willing to bet $10 Million that his catalog is better than Roddy’s. What do you think?
RichHomieQuan speaks on Roddy Ricch removing his verse off a song + challenges Roddy to a verzuz battle: “I put $10 million to his $1 million his catalog can’t f-ck with mine”.
Because of this, Rich Homie Quan offered his unfiltered thoughts on an Instagram Live broadcast.
“I f*ck with Gucci,” he said. “My verse harder than Gucci Mane. Wayne killed that mothaf*cka. Man, my sh*t was harder than Roddy,” he exclaimed. “Then, they say, ‘We ain’t trying to start no industry sh*t. Roddy Ricch wanted you off the song.’ I ain’t even met Roddy!”
Rich Homie Quan then throws some disses toward Ricch before offering him a challenge. He was so confident in the strength of his deleted verse that he’d bet “$10 million to his $1 million.”
“Roddy got that ‘Box’ song. I bet his catalog can’t f*ck with mine,” he continued. “That’s on all the money he got in the bank.”
“Since you wanted me off the song, man, let’s go back-and-forth, catalog to catalog,” Rich Homie Quan challenged. “You ain’t got nothing but the ‘Box’ sh*t because all that other sh*t wack.”
“Nothing against Gucci Mane because I love Gucci bruh, that’s my dawg… bro wasn’t nobody on that song when it was sent to me man,” Quan began. “All I’m saying is, even if you ain’t want me on the song, somebody could’ve called my phone…. since November! Since November!”
“Even if you ain’t like my verse you could’ve just …’Bruh we going in a different route,'” he continued. “But bruh, I f**k with Gucci and my verse was harder than Gucci. Wayne killed that muhf**ka and man my s**t harder than Roddy. So then they say ‘Well Quan you know I ain’t trying to start no industry s**t. Roddy Ricch wanted you off the song.’ Man I ain’t even met Roddy! I ain’t even know he felt some type of way about me!”
In retaliation to Roddy’s alleged move, Rich Homie Quan challenged “The Box” rapper to a Verzuz-style battle to even the score. Quan asserts Roddy’s catalog can’t measure up to his vault of hits.
“If he do and since he do, man… Roddy got that ‘Box’ song. I bet his catalog can’t f**k with mine on nan day,” Quan declared. “and that’s on all the money he got in the bank…. I put $10 million to his $1 million.”
