In a surprising turn of events, a confrontation reportedly broke out between BJP spokesperson and Supreme Court lawyer Gaurav Bhatia and the lawyers present at the court premises in Surajpur District Court, Greater Noida. As a lawyer himself, Bhatia’s presence amidst an ongoing strike sparked heated confrontation with local lawyers, escalating tensions within the court premises.
A lawyers’ strike is going on at the Gautam Buddha Nagar district court in Greater Noida in protest against an FIR filed by the police against the father of a lawyer over a certain case, fueling discontent among the legal practitioners.
Reports suggest that Bhatia was at the court to plead for a case related to YouTuber Elvish Yadav. The situation intensified when some lawyers objected to Bhatia’s presence at the court while a strike is going on. The led to a confrontation between Bhatia and lawyer. The police were called to ensure Bhatia’s safe exit under strict security measures.
